As I come into Your presence
Past the gates of praise
I sit at Your feet and into Your face I gaze
You lift me up to sit upon Your knee
You hold me close, my head upon Your shoulder
finally I am peace
Only in You may I find rest
In the knowledge that You hold it all
Never should I take control
To You I leave it, I leave it all
Away I walk, free in the serenity of Your presence
Enjoying Your gifts each day
Lord fix my focus on You
That I may be in line with You each step of the way
Thank you for Your tranquility and understanding
Almighty Father, Lover, and Friend
To You I give my heart with a peace that transends
I know when it is time, You will let someone in
But until that day, consume my thoughts with You Lord Jesus my King
Be the Rock on which I stand and the Truth to which I cling
